PELATIHAN ECOPRINT PADA KAIN SEBAGAI SARANA PENGEMBANGAN EKONOMI WARGA

Abstract

The aim of this Community Service Program (Pk.M) was to give basic skills to the church goers of GKJW Madiun in making  batik  with  ecoprint techniques in which the variety of product could be a means  of starting  a business so as to improve their financial condition. The   method  used    to   solve  the   problem was to  provide training  on product manufacturing, product marketing facilitation, and  trainee's assistance.  The  training wasexplaining the  materials and  equipment as  well as  the  leaves and flowers that  could  be used, processing  the ecoprint   batik from  the  fabric  mordanting stage to leaf  and  flower treatment,  and  making   the ecoprint scarf. All participants of the  training succeeded in making  an  ecoprint and  there  were even trainees who had  transmitted  the  skills  of this  training to the others. Unfortunately, the product has  not been commercialized.
